چکیده
Abstract Background Limited information exists on the incidence of postoperative deep venous thromboembolism (DVT) in patients with isolated patella fractures. The objective this study was to investigate and locations thrombosis lower extremity who underwent fractures identify associated risk factors. Methods Medical data 716 hospitalized collected. had acute were admitted at 3rd Hospital Hebei University between January 1, 2016, February 31, 2019. All met inclusion criteria. collected using inpatient record system, which included patient demographics, patient’s bad hobbies, comorbidities, past medical history, fracture surgery-related factors, hematological biomarkers, total hospital stay, preoperative stay. Doppler examination conducted for diagnosis DVT. Univariate analyses multivariate logistic regression used independent Results Among patients, DVT confirmed 29 cases, indicating an 4.1%. involved bilateral limbs (injured uninjured) one (3.4%). superficial femoral common vein 1 case (3.4%), popliteal 6 cases (20.7%), posterior tibial 11 (37.9%), peroneal (37.9%). median interval surgery 4.0 days (range, 1.0-8.0 days). Six variables identified be factors age category (> 65 years old), OR, 4.44 (1.34-14.71); arrhythmia, 4.41 (1.20-16.15); intra-operative blood loss, 1.01 (1.00-1.02); stay (delay each day), 1.43 (1.15-1.78); surgical duration, 1.04 (1.03-1.06); LDL-C 3.37 mmol/L), 2.98 (1.14-7.76). Conclusion Incidence is substantial. More attentions should paid prophylaxis Identification can help clinicians recognize population, assess DVT, develop personalized strategies.

Incidence and risk factors for bilateral deep venous thrombosis of the lower limbs.
The incidence of bilateral deep venous thrombosis in patients with single limb or bilateral symptoms was determined using duplex scan examination. In a prospective study, 157 inpatients with clinical suspicion of deep venous thrombosis underwent duplex scan evaluation of the lower extremities. Demographic characteristics, physical examination data, and risk factor information were collected. In...
متن کاملPharmacomechanical thrombectomy for acute symptomatic lower extremity deep venous thrombosis.
BACKGROUND The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of pharmacomechanical thrombectomy performed by using a rotational thrombectomy device for the treatment of deep vein thrombosis. METHODS Between April 2012 and November 2014, 17 patients with acute deep vein thrombosis underwent pharmacomechanical thrombolysis. The thrombectomy device was used in a single-session te...
متن کاملIsolated Deep Venous Thrombosis: Implications for 2-Point Compression Ultrasonography of the Lower Extremity.
STUDY OBJECTIVE Two-point compression ultrasonography focuses on the evaluation of common femoral and popliteal veins for complete compressibility. The presence of isolated thrombi in proximal veins other than the common femoral and popliteal veins should prompt modification of 2-point compression technique. The objective of this study is to determine the prevalence and distribution of deep ven...
متن کاملAnalysis of Risk Factors for Lower-limb Deep Venous Thrombosis in Old Patients after Knee Arthroplasty
BACKGROUND Deep venous thrombosis (DVT) is a common complication of arthroplasty in old patients. We analyzed risk factors for lower-limb DVT after arthroplasty in patients aged over 70 years to determine controllable risk factors. METHODS This was a retrospective study of 1,025 patients aged >70 years treated with knee arthroplasty at our hospital between January 2009 and December 2013. Of 1...

BACKGROUND Septic deep venous thrombosis (SDVT) is an uncommon but occasionally lethal disease caused by systemic complications. In most cases reported in the literature SDVT is caused by intravenous drug abuse or transvenous catheter lines. Conservative management with antibiotic drugs and systemic anticoagulation is usually successful, and the surgical approach is regarded as not indicated or...
